Good Afternoon,

Wow what a fantastic weekend it was. Friday evening was spent down a the National Harbor touring the ship "The Freedom Schooner Amistad", the celebrated recreation of the trade ship La Amistad. We toured the top deck and then went down under where our tour guide told the story of the ship. Fasinating. I believe the ship is heading somewhere else in the Washington Metropolitan Area and I would recommend that you stop by for a visit. Saturday night my son and I went to a baseball game a the fabulous Nationals stadium. The Nats lost but is was great spending time with my son. We had a ball and look forward to going again. Took a few pics there will post some on the blog shortly.
